How to Define Pressure and Flow for a Compression RFQ

Pressure and flow should be defined as operating conditions, not copied from a catalogue headline. State suction pressure, target discharge pressure and the required flow together with the gas composition and temperature. If the duty varies, provide minimum, normal and maximum cases.

Use source ranges correctly

A catalogue family labeled 20-40 bar establishes a documented product-family pressure band. It does not prove that every model covers every point in that band, and it does not establish oxygen-service suitability. Final selection remains tied to the exact source model data and project review.

Include the surrounding system

Cooling utilities, upstream pressure stability, downstream storage or process equipment and control requirements can influence the selected configuration. Send the relevant P&ID or system sketch when available.
