Process-Gas Compressor Matching Starts with Gas Composition

The approved process-gas source documents special-requirement screw-compressor applications for several gases, including nitrogen, carbon dioxide, marsh/biogas, gasoline gas, coal-bed gas and chemical waste gas. That evidence establishes a process-gas platform boundary, not universal compatibility with every gas.

Why composition belongs in the first RFQ line

Gas identity, concentration, contaminants and moisture can affect the material, sealing, cleaning and auxiliary-system review. When the target is oxygen, explicitly state oxygen percentage or purity rather than writing only “process gas.”

Do not transfer suitability from one gas to another

A documented nitrogen or CO2 application is not evidence that the same configuration is approved for oxygen. Treat each gas-service claim separately and keep unsupported suitability as an engineering confirmation item.
